Seche vite means litteraly Dry Quickly in French.
So there you have it, Seche Vite will make your nail polish dry really really quickly.
You put two, three coats on? Doesn’t matter. A coat of Seche Vite and you’re done.
It’s pretty impressive. Within 45 seconds your nails are dry. Within one minute or two, you can run your hand in your hair, I even put on plastic gloves and washed the dishes. You can do your nails, go to bed and forget about sheet marks. It’s fabulous
Now, I would usually end me review here (which would make it the ONLY short review up in here…)
But while doing my research on the product I stumbled on a few outraged bloggers and vloggers commenting on the Warning you can read on the bottle of Seche Vite
Of course, it has to scare you a little bit. I mean it’s just nail polish, it’s not worth hurting your future babies.
When contacted by a customer, Seche replied
[box] Thank you for contacting us. We are happy to assist you today. Please note that when used as intended and directed Seche is completely safe. Our product contains Toluene. Repeatedly breathing toluene through deliberately “sniffing” or “huffing” can cause death, permanent brain damage, or depression. Repeated deliberate exposure to toluene in pregnant women may increase the risk of damage to the foetus. California Prop 65 requires us to label all potentially hazardous products as such.[/box]
So until you don’t sniff or huff it during your pregnancy and use it properly, you should be ok.
But if you’re really concerned with the warning, you can try INM Out The Door which, from what I have read online, is comparable.
