I am a fan of eyeliner. It looks sexy, polished, feminine. Alas I have never been good at applying it. So I stick to my pencil liner which has always worked perfectly for me. I tried liquid eyeliner once but made a mess and it didn’t look nearly as sexy as the picture below.
When I received the Rapid Liner by Pupa I was, first of all, happy to be trying a Pupa product. I have lived in Italy for most of my life and it is one of the first brands of makeup I have ever owned; my mother gave me my first make up palette (a gorgeous red sun shaped Pupa palette) as a Christmas gift. A palette I still own and sometimes use…15 years after I got it (it’s probably wrong to put 15 years old eye shadow on, but I swear it’s still perfect and my eyelids are fine!) I have owned many eyeshadows and palettes since, but still love the characteristic Pupa red box and the gorgeous eye shadows.
Back to the eyeliner. I tried it and was surprised at how easy it was to draw a straight line. The finish is shiny, extrablack and it honestly stays put all day. I guess that the fact that it is conditioned like a marker makes it extremely easy to use. Also, the felt tip glides on your skin so no need to pull your skin or to go over the line more than once. It actually gives me the confidence to go ahead and try a liquid liner… I’ll give it a few more weeks of pratice and then take the plunge. I love it and am happy to change from my usual routine. I draw a straight line for my daily makeup and get a little bit adventurous at night when I extend the eyeliner line for a “miaw groar” feline look.
Get it for 18$ for up to 4 months use (from the reviews I read online it can last up to 6 months which makes it extremely affordable)
After using it for a few more weeks, I still love this product. Only thing: at some point I thought it was running out and I just had to put head down in my makeup case and it started running smoothly, like new!
