I discovered elf after starting this blog. And what I first discovered is that elf products are cheap. And that most of the time their are definitely great buys if you are starting off your makeup collection or want to experiment. I was not drawn to their eyeshadows at first simply because they are so cheap they could not be good..in my eyes. But then I stumbled on the tutorial below and decided to giv’em a try.
Let’s just say I did not regret the purchase. I mean, honestly, they’re 1.00$…for 4 shades. Of course, the quads are small, the application is not as silky smooth as a high end eyeshadow and the pigmentation and longevity can be inconsistent from one quad to the other but, with a good eyeshadow primer and base, I believe you can achieve great things with these quads, as you can see in the tutorial that inspired my purchase.
Really the only thing that annoys me with these quads is the fact that they’re so small my eyeshadow brush barely fits in the color sections, but really that’s all.
